This heavy-duty machine bench can take a load of around a tonne and was built entirely from leftover materials. The mortiser with its cast-iron table, which has found a home on it, isn’t quite that heavy, mind you. The four 60cm-deep drawers can each be loaded with 50kg too. So plenty of room for lots of screws and small parts.
The feet can be adjusted by about 5cm.
