Our job was to prepare the timber of these garage doors for painting. In the lower third there was some standing-water damage to repair. All the kick boards were to be replaced and in future edged in aluminium. I think they look great.
The timber of these two park benches wasn’t just suffering from damaged paint – it had already started to rot. So, everything new. Now they’re gleaming again and inviting you to sit down a while.
Here we restored an extending dining table. The old finish was in very poor condition. There were also burn marks in the lacquer and a few chipped spots. An extensive shutter refurbishment. One challenge was getting the heavy 3.5 m tall shutters off in the first place. Some of them were already in a very bad way (see pictures), so we had to replace a lot of timber.

Besides taking down the old weathered fence and cutting back the hedge, a new fence was put up here. 12 gates were made to the customer’s design.
Here’s another timber façade, which we made from softwood to a design specification and fitted. The elements were given tongue-and-groove joints, a decorative edge and a rounded design with a drip edge.
A smaller fence with a garden gate and a post that had to house an intercom.
Large fence, around 140 m long, with 5 gates in 2 different designs. Fences and gates were made and fitted by us, modelled on the historic original.
Here a fitted kitchen was installed and a worktop made from 40 mm thick birch plywood (multiplex).
A further 6 windows on the street side were given huge shutters modelled on the historic original. The photos only hint at the size. The lower shutter leaves are 181 cm tall.
