Here we restored an extending dining table. The old finish was in very poor condition. There were also burn marks in the lacquer and a few chipped spots. The particular challenge, though, was keeping the wood surface showing through, even though the table veneer was made up of different materials. The table was completely stripped of its old finish. In the end we solved it with a triple stain followed by lacquering. The mechanism and locking were partly replaced.
