Window restoration

Here’s a restoration of a window that had been badly damaged by a broken gutter and the splash-back it caused:

Starting condition
After the first repair to the fascia, bigger damage than expected behind the large decorative board. Nothing left to save, everything had to be made new.
So everything that was rotten came out.
All the rotten load-bearing parts rebuilt, the large decorative moulding, the ornamental blocks and parts of the fascia made new in pine.
Colour matched, ordered, three coats of paint and the silicone partly renewed. It was more work than first thought, but the customer was happy, and that’s how it should be. 🙂
