For a property management company in Berlin-Rudow we adapted 22 window well gratings to the new façade. The building had received exterior insulation, so the old steel grates over the basement light wells no longer fit. We picked up the gratings, cleaned them, cut them to the new size and welded on new mounting tabs. All gratings were then repainted and reinstalled. That way the existing grates could be reused instead of buying everything new – metalwork and welding in Berlin and Oberhavel.
