The shutters of a private villa in Berlin-Charlottenburg were already badly weathered – on the frames and panels the wood had partly decayed down to the fibers. We essentially restored the shutters completely: all damaged wood was cut out and replaced with new timber, and the hardware was reconditioned. Before that, we matched the original color on the existing paint with a color fan deck, so the shutters could be repainted in their original shade.
