Happens all the time, but it’s no problem to grind it back into shape. With us it’s included in the price of a normal sharpening. before:after: Passiert immer wieder, ist aber kein Problem wieder anzuschleifen. Bei uns im Preis eines normalen Schliffs inklusive. vorher:nachher:
We’re happy to take on jobs like this now and again – a bit of variety for us, and a stroke of luck for the tenant, because she could hardly find anyone to put it up for her. (These flat-pack sheds look simple, but even two tradesmen need 5 hours to put one together.) So […]
Another fence where we made every element ourselves. The special features here too: angled cuts, heavy timber sections, pressure-treated, adjustable gates, and every single slat can be swapped or replaced individually. Eine weitere Zaunanlage für welche alle Elemente von uns angefertigt wurden. Besonderheit auch hier: Schrägschnitt, hohe Materialstärke, Kesseldruck-Imprägniert, Türen einstellbar und jede Latte ist […]
Both doors of the hunting towers were badly damaged at the bottom and had to be rebuilt. While we were at it, the joints were replaced and the paintwork redone.

And another 10 windows with 20 shutter leaves. All the way round the lower ground floor of the third building, every window can now be closed up, reliably keeping the heat out in summer and the cold out in winter.
Another 12 windows (front and back) on the next building of the estate have been fitted with shutters. On this building both floors are being fitted out.
And that wraps up the project at this building, at least as far as the shutters go. It’s turned out really smart, the whole building.
The second part of the project at this building was to fit 7 windows on the first floor with shutters. Design made and fitted to the historic original.
Two movable goat boxes for a dear friend and her pretty goats. They can be quickly moved to a new spot so the grazing areas can be rotated. They’re absolutely rigid and still light. Made from spruce.
Two fir trees had made themselves more than a little at home. Our customers wanted both of them gone to let in more light. Thanks to my hard-working helper, we were done within 5.5 hours including loading up. One stood close to the house, but overall a fairly low level of difficulty. Really lovely customers […]
Here are two large handmade louvred shutters. One of them is used as a door.
Here’s a restoration of a window that had been badly damaged by a broken gutter and the splash-back it caused:
The first batch of shutters for the Beamten-Wohnungs-Verein zu Berlin housing cooperative in Steglitz. The outside of the six buildings is being completely renovated and beautifully restored. Lovely colours on all the buildings, very finely matched, and they radiate a lot of warmth.
This heavy-duty machine bench can take a load of around a tonne and was built entirely from leftover materials. The mortiser with its cast-iron table, which has found a home on it, isn’t quite that heavy, mind you. The four 60cm-deep drawers can each be loaded with 50kg too. So plenty of room for lots […]
